Preparing for your appointment at our law firm

  • Cost

Your first in-person appointment with one of our attorneys is absolutely free. You will sit down, one-on-one, with an experienced lawyer to discuss your case.

We will discuss our fees, any applicable government fees, and any additional costs at the appointment, so that you know, up-front, how much you need to pay to accomplish your goals. If you hire us, we can get started right away. If you need time to think about it, that’s ok too.

Whenever you’re ready to start, we accept payments via Zelle (bank transfer) and cash, and most clients qualify for a payment plan, so you don’t have to pay everything all at once to get started.

  • What to bring

You don't have to bring anything, but sometimes we need to see immigration, biographical, or criminal records to give accurate advice.

For example, if you have ever been in immigration court, we want to be able to search for records associated with your Alien Registration Number and to see the I-862 Notice to Appear.

Also, if you have ever been arrested, we want to see the police report/citation and, if the case is already closed, the court disposition.

Don’t worry if you don't have some important records. We can discuss it at the appointment.

  • What to expect

Be prepared to discuss your personal history openly and honestly. We will review criminal history, immigration history, biographical information, and anything else necessary to evaluate your case.

Anything you tell us about your past is confidential. We won't disclose anything, unless you give us permission to do so.

After the appointment, we will tell you as clearly as possible whether we can help you, how much it will cost, and what we will need to do to get started.
